EQUIPMENT FOR RENT
The guild maintains an inventory of equipment to rent on a short term basis for our members. Rent is charged on a monthly basis. This service gives members an opportunity to try out a tool or technique before investing in personal equipment. Students in our classes may rent equipment if they become members.
There is a variety of equipment to rent such as floor and table looms, spinning wheels, rigid heddle looms, shuttles, handcards, etc.
You MUST contact the Equipment Chair before placing your on-line order. This ensures that the equipment you are looking for is available. The refundable security deposit must be given to the Equipment Chair when the equipment is given to you. Security deposits may be made by personal check or in cash, and will be returned to you when the equipment is returned in good condition.
