Our Weaving Class for Kids introduces young people to the fun of creating cloth on a real loom. In this one-day, 4-hour class, your child will learn how cloth is made, and will get first hand experience in weaving on a loom. Not only is weaving fun, it is great for improving dexterity and concentration. Participants will end the day with a small woven piece that can be worn as a scarf, used as a placemat, or simply hung on the wall as a tapestry!
The class is intended for kids aged 10-14. Younger kids (ages 7-9) may participate with parental assistance.
All materials will be provided, but you may bring your own yarn if you wish.
