Twining a Small Wall Piece

Fee: $90 member/ $100 nonmembers
Materials fee: $5
Twining is an easy basketry technique with two weavers traveling together around a warp. In this one day workshop we will set a warp on a small stick, discuss designs and twine a small piece (3" x 4") to hang on the wall. If you don't finish in class, the weaving will easily be finished at home with complete instructions.
Materials: All materials will be supplied ($5 materials fee paid to instructor). If you have favorite colors, bring your own embroidery floss. If you need extra light please bring a small portable lamp and extension cord.
Equipment: No equipment is needed for this weaving, but please bring a pair of small sharp scissors.
Experience level: No prior twining experience needed.
